I’m Sourav — ML engineer turned researcher, currently finishing my M.Sc. in Data Science at Uppsala University.

What I’m working on

My thesis at Scania is about real-time anomaly detection on streaming sensor data from truck fleets. The interesting part: the models run on edge hardware inside the trucks and share knowledge across the fleet via federated learning, without centralizing raw data.

On the side, I’m building unspool.life — an AI assistant for people with ADHD that organizes your life without asking you to organize anything. And Kore, a programming language where the compiler doubles as a reward function for training LLMs.

Before this

I spent 4+ years at HyperVerge building production ML systems for identity verification — document AI, OCR, multimodal transformers — deployed across India and Southeast Asia.
